Registration
Registration will be open until 15th of April, 2013.
To register, please fill in the application form (which includes personal information and an abstract of 250-500 words) and send it to sodoc-2013@uni-koeln.de
The SoDoc is intended to be a meeting in which PhD students get ample time to discuss their projects. This includes projects at all stages of the research process from abstract ideas or a first experiment up to a completed set of studies. We further explicitly encourage you not to present polished talks and not to hide nonsignificant findings but to take advantage of the situation and to present everything you want to discuss.
As hotels may fill up quickly in Cologne, we recommend to already reserve a room when you register.
The maximum number of participants will be 32. If there are more than 32 applicants, we will select participants according to their seniority or previous participation at the SoDoc. First-year students will have the opportunity to apply for upcoming SoDoc conferences, Thus, "older" PhD students and first time participants are preferred. But we hope that such a selection process won't be necessary.
We will inform all applicants by the end of April wheter they are accepted. Participation is free but there may incur costs for food and social events, though.
